FAQ

When will I get the images?

We strive to turn around the images to our clients as quickly as possible while maintaining the impeccable quality our clients expect. You will receive your images roughly 6-8 weeks after your wedding date.

How many images do you deliver?

Generally speaking, clients will receive approximately 80-100 images per hour of photography coverage.

Do you shoot film or digital photography?

I consider myself a “hybrid” photographer, which means I shoot a combination of digital and film for most weddings and feel as though there are huge benefits to both film and digital photography. I love film for its timeless beautiful colours and feeling, and we love digital for its speed, security and the possibility to push the ISO in dark churches. Depending on the style of your wedding and your personal preferences, I will supplement with more or less film.

Do we need a second photographer?

You do not need one, but I highly recommend it for your wedding day and for particularly large weddings to ensure we get plenty of photographs of your guests. A second photographer can add another perspective and allows us to focus on a specific moment without missing others.

What cameras do you shoot with?

I work with high-end Canon cameras and professional lenses. I also use a Mamiya645 film camera and a 35mm Canon 1-V camera.

Do you bring backup equipment?

Of course!  We always bring a second camera body along with extra lenses, multiple digital memory cards, and a lot of batteries and accessories to make sure that we don’t miss a moment.

How do I make sure we don’t miss anyone during the portraits?

It’s always recommended that you prepare a list of people before the big day of people you would like portraits taken with.  You can either send this list to us beforehand or give it to someone close to the family that might act as a family coordinator (or both).  If someone is appointed that knows the family members, it allows us to continue shooting candid shots in between portraits while someone else is interacting and organizing your family.

Do you do cultural weddings Indian, Jewish, Asian etc.?

We are very well versed in all types of religious and cultural ceremonies and operate in a very respectful and courteous manner.

Do you backup images after the wedding, photo session?

We shoot with professional camera bodies complete with dual card slots meaning every shot we take is recorded on the primary card and immediately backed up to the secondary card. At home, the cards are backed up once again to hard drives.

What area do you service?

We service all Metro Vancouver Area at no charge to our clients.
