If you are looking for a wedding venue that offers panoramic water and mountain views in an authentic and natural environment you will definitely wanting to add Cecil Green Park House to the shortlist.

Swaneset Bay Resort and Country Club

Escape city life and discover the Swansea Bay Resort and Country Club where weddings are always beautiful. Honestly out of the four ceremony venue options I love them all equally. From a photography point of view, the backdrops for the ceremony are all uniquely stunning.

The Garden Birch Terrace with the mountains in the background is a touch rustic and certainly lush for an outdoor wedding. Plus the long entrance across the lawn for the bride and her bridal party is amazing.

Then you have the main lawn which is a wide-open space that has the wow factor from all sides. The Sunset Patio as the name suggests is perfect for a sunset ceremony. The light filters through the trees in a way wedding photographers in Vancouver pray for.

Finally, you can be indoors at the Center Spotlight in the Grand Ballroom. It is fabulously grand with floor to ceiling windows so you still get gorgeous views from the comfort of the ballroom. So many choices at this venue!

The space includes two floors, patios and a spacious dining area as well as many smaller dining areas in case you are having a micro wedding. With private rooms for up to 25 people or a larger space that can fit nearly 100 guests, it can be styled and decorated for any kind of wedding. Hycroft Manor is a heritage building within the University Women’s Club of Vancouver grounds. Couples are drawn to the view terrace, the heritage garden and the romantic balcony which are all quaint areas for your wedding ceremony. The Edwardian building is charming and the English-style garden with statue features makes you feel like you are in Europe. Although this isn’t a budget venue it’s affordable, especially if you are planning a small wedding or elopement.

UBC Boathouse

There is something so romantic about a wedding near the water. The fresh air and casual vibe of the boatie lifestyle certainly beckon many couples planning on getting married. Set on the Frazer River the boathouse floats on the water. The modern space looks impressive from the inside and outside with huge floor to ceiling windows to light up the day. You have the option of getting married outdoors if you are having a small affair of 30 guests or less. You will fall instantly in love with the Celebration Pavilion. Lush gardens and lots of natural greenery surrounds the inner-city venue. Shooting brides and grooms around here give me a feeling of pure joy and in Spring and Fall, it is especially beautiful. Let’s tell your love story in the most intimate and romantic way at Queen Elizabeth Park. The gardens are whimsical and fresh and so perfectly ideal for wedding photography.
